Today, the twins are 40 weeks old and we are anxiously awaiting labor while developing the character traits of patience, acceptance, and faith. It is easy to be faithful when things go as planned, but when things are out of my control- I can get squirrelly real quick. I have been taking deep breaths of fresh air and trying to spend as much time outside as possible. Otherwise, I will pace around the house and drive everybody crazy.

On another note, my second book, Just Like a Soldier, is published and available for sale across the world wide web. Yes! One hundred and sixty five author copies were ordered today for Kickstarter backers, to sell from our website and to local stores. So if you want to wait to place your order through a local business, it will be a few weeks before we are stocked. But it is worth the wait.

We are a blessed family and I am a blessed man. However, I am also a human being currently feeling a wide array of emotions and doing my best to remain calm, be present, and positive.

Come on twins, please treat your mother well during delivery. And be healthy.

Thank you all so much for the prayers, kind words, gifts, and support.

Sincerely,
Robert Stark

It’s gotta be a great feeling to have accomplished so much in just the last few years Bob, congratulations to you and your beautiful family. I got rid of my PO Box in Arizona because I knew I’d be traveling for work so I’ll have to order a copy of your new book from a local bookstore in a few weeks, I’m really exited to read it.

Anytime I see a pregnant belly, my curious brain starts asking so many questions. How is it possible that our skin can stretch so much? How did we breathe as tiny babies in our mothers belly with all that liquid in our lungs? How is it possible to have a different blood type than our mom? What happens on the other side of our belly button when that magical cord of life gets cut? Maybe some of life’s questions are better left a mystery but I’m pray’n that everything flows smoothly when those two lucky babies splash into this wild World. I know they will be surrounded with love.

I’m in a town called Pacifica-California, listening to the constant sounds of crashing waves. It’s foggy and damp on the West coast this morning but I’m so grateful that my van is still run’n smooth and that it protects me from these salty weather conditions. I’m here help’n build a small climbing wall for a fancy office building right downtown, in the heart of San Francisco. I’ve been parking my van in a crusty parking lot, a few blocks from the job-site, and I actually get to wall underneath the enormous Bay Bridge to go to work. It’s aways such a trip to be in big cities like this, to see how other people live, and to talk to so many different kinds of people, it feels like I’m the minority now. I’m not a big fan of living in an area with so many cars and traffic and people but the skyscrapers and architecture are so fascinating. I’m super grateful to have a job that allows me to travel and experience so many different parts of this diverse country but I’ll feel so much more relaxed when we finish this install and I can get back to the peaceful and open lands of Arizona.

I hope you all have a wonderful rest of the year. Thank you for sharing so much of your lives and for being such an inspiration to so many people. Your kids are lucky to have such amazing parents.

Much love and appreciation to you all,
    Matt Kruger
