In 2022, after being rejected by hundreds of agents and small-scale publishers, Robert self-published his first book, Warflower, with great success. It was an Amazon Bestseller within days and stayed on the bestseller list for over a year. His second book, Just Like a Soldier, was published in 2024. He is currently writing a gothic fiction trilogy that falls somewhere between a post-apocalyptic thriller and a lesser rendition of The Stand, and a self-help book for veterans that can be read in a single sitting.
