After putting the babies to bed around 7 pm every night, Super Mom does dishes, preps food, cleans up after Hurricane Children and then goes outside at twilight to work in the garden. She returns to the house with dirty fingers and the shivers before washing her hands and standing in front of the heater to warm up. She works on the Stark Raving Mad publication for a bit, records or edits a new YouTube video, prepares for a Yoga class, works on herbal products, beads, and visits with her husband on the couch, in the kitchen, or on the bed- sometimes watching an episode or two of Frasier or Schitt’s Creek to laugh and relax before going to bed between 11 and 12.
She wakes up multiple times a night to feed the twins at different times, burp them, change their diapers, and get them back to sleep. She wakes up to either Marlena or Primrose crawling into her bed to snuggle. And then she wakes up between 5-5:30 every morning to lie in bed with one or more babies for an hour or more until trying to let everybody else sleep.

When she leaves bed, she drinks two or more cups of strong coffee before starting the long and arduous work of mothering four children, growing a large garden, running a multi-faceted business, and being spiritually active.
She receives zero awards and accolades, no trophies and pay. Most of the time she doesn’t even get a thank you. She is invisible in the public’s eye, she does not post her every day tasks on social media for people to applaud. She humbly works hard every day to provide for her family. Love, patience, and selflessness are her super powers.
She is Super Mom.
