I have recently gone down a YouTube spiral. Searching endlessly videos of equipment people use to make YouTube videos. Seems funny. But knowing our page is about to get an upload at the end of the year of videos I’ve made throughout the year- I want the next year to be better quality. This has taken a lot of effort and eye power, and in the end, I might just buy a new phone and keep rolling – my current iPhone 11’s volume only works if I use it on speaker phone and when recording it picks up less than half the time. Since I prepay AT&T for $30/month I’d have to buy a new phone out right and its semi comparable to the hardware I would buy otherwise. My screen time is up to 2 1/2 hours a day from endless video research only to really come to no decision. Any one else feel me on this? Am I the only one who constantly is exploring new hobbies and topic? Why can’t I just focus on a few things and become good at them?
My beading has come a long way in the last 4 years, but it still isn’t where I would want. Probably because I get pulled in different directions. Like starting my herbal line. My Spanish is still horrendous, but I always thank God I have Bobby Joe to lean on for that. And how will I ever have time to go to school to be a Doctor so then I can really tell people what to do?!
My point is, it is so difficult for me to really excel at something. I am interested in so many things, which feels like a blessing and a curse! But because of this, I am constantly splitting my time between learning something new and “perfecting” a skill. It’s kind of annoying. I need to just focus, and get good at what I am doing. Maybe if I started focusing and making money on something I love doing, I would be able to focus more and work on it more and then I wouldn’t’t be looking into other ways I can make money which would require a new skill. Like the YouTube channel thing. I’m about to post a new video in the next few days on my 2nd and 3rd trimester symptoms. Which is great, I hope that other twin mamas out there will have more content to watch, but also, shouldn’t I be beading for the upcoming Holiday Bazaar I’m doing? Life is too short – but I am happy to have busy hands, and plenty of hobbies to keep me going.

Of all the hats I wear, my favorite is being the wife and mother I get to be every day.
